With over 270 years of history, Kobe Shushinkan Brewery is the maker of the Fukuju sake brand. Here, you’ll explore traditional brewing techniques—recently recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage—taste award-winning sake, including the one served at official Nobel Prize events, and enjoy refined meals that celebrate local ingredients and Japanese hospitality. Whether you join a luxury tour or opt for a casual visit, your journey with Fukuju will be both memorable and meaningful. Our brewery offers three unique ways to discover the craftsmanship, culture, and flavors of Japanese sake.
Luxury Brewery Tour & Kobe Beef Kaiseki (2-6 guests)
¥60,000 per person (2-week prior reservation required)
Available: Mon., Tue., Fri. at 10 AM or 4:30 PM
Duration: Approx 4 hours
Tour our brewery, savor an exclusive sake tasting, and indulge in a seasonal kaiseki meal featuring the world-renowned Kobe beef, thoughtfully paired with Fukuju sake.

Standard Sake Brewery Tour & Kaiseki Course Meal (2-6 guests)
¥30,000 per person (2-week prior reservation required)
Available: Mon., Tue., Fri. at 10 AM or 4:30 PM
Duration: Approx 4 hours
Enjoy an English-guided brewery tour, participate in a curated sake tasting, and savor an elegant kaiseki course meal made with fresh, local ingredients (Kobe beef not included).

Premium Guided Sake Tour － with Exclusive Souvenir (2-6 guests)
¥4,500 per person (same-day reservation possible)
Available: Every day at 5:00 PM
Duration: Approx. 90 minutes
Join our expert staff for a guided walk through our brewery corridor, where you’ll gain a deeper understandingof sake brewing. The tour continues with a curated premium sake tasting in a private setting, and each guest will receive a special souvenir to take home.

Free Sake Brewery Tour (Partly Self-Guided)
Free / Reservation required at least 2 days in advance
Available: Every day from 11AM to 3:30 PM (except mid-Dec. to mid-Jan.)

This quick self-guided tour lets you explore our sake production area through a glass-paneled corridor at your own pace, then enjoy a free sake tasting served by our staff at our onsite Brewery Shop.
